Thomas Point Shoal Lighthouse Lamp, Maryland - Sale Price: $159.95Built in 1875 atop Thomas Point Shoal, out in the water, this attractive and unusual lighthouse has a construction that is quite typical of other populating the Middle Atlantic region. Due to the nature of its underpinnings, it appears to sit on stilts coming up from the ocean floor. Thomas Point was the last manned lighthouse on Chesapeake Bay. Although it can only be reached and seen by boat, it is the most photographed and painted lighthouse in the region. Overall lamp height is 24".
