About the lighthouse:
Pigeon Point Light, with its 115-foot tower, along with Point Arena Light, are the two tallest lighthouses on the Pacific Coast. Located in Northern California just south of San Francisco, Pigeon Point was built in 1872. The 1008-prism first-order Fresnel Lens was previously used in the second Cape Hatteras Lighthouse in North Carolina but was shipped west to give Pigeon Point a bright beacon that is visible 18 miles out to sea. Overall lamp height is 24".

Big Sable Lighthouse Lamp, Michigan - Sale Price: $159.95Built on the eastern shore of Lake Michigan in 1867, Big Sable guided mariners on the most direct route to and from the Port of Chicago. In 1900, due to deterioration from the ravages of Lake Michigan, a steel sleeve was wrapped around the original structure and filled with concrete.
