About the lighthouse:
Built in 1902 at the breakwater's edge in Rockland, Maine, this massive structure consists of a keeper's house in brick, with a 25-foot brick tower attached to its roof. The tower was outfitted with a fourth-order Fresnel Lens from France, which was lit for the first time on October 30, 1902. Overall lamp height: 24".

p>Offered as a shorebird pair, together on one handsome wooden base are our Large Standing Yellowlegs and Small Sandpiper. These two have compatible colorations and make a stunning statement together. The lamp stands about 25" high overall and is complete with a classic black shade and gold foil lining. The Yellowlegs is about 13" from tail to beak, and the Sandpiper is about 8" long overall. A three-way switch is standard.
