About the lighthouse:
One of only two lighthouses on Block Island, Southeast Lighthouse stands on a bluff 201 feet above sea level. This handsome 2000 to Gothic Revival structure, built in 1873, was moved back to safety in recent years from the rapidly eroding Mohegan Bluffs. Overall lamp height is 24".

The Willet, in russet tones with accents of black and red, stands alone on his pretty native wooden platform as a solitary statement and warm country expression. Each shorebird is hand-carved and hand-painted as an original work of art, and no two are exactly alike. The Willet is about 9" long, and the lamp stands about 24" high overall. We've topped this one with a cream bone linen shade and brass ball finial. Three-way switch is provided.
