Built in 1875 atop Thomas Point Shoal, out in the water, this attractive and unusual lighthouse has a construction that is quite typical of other populating the Middle Atlantic region. Due to the nature of its underpinnings, it appears to sit on stilts coming up from the ocean floor. Thomas Point was the last manned lighthouse on Chesapeake Bay. Although it can only be reached and seen by boat, it is the most photographed and painted lighthouse in the region. Overall lamp height is 24".

Features four-way gimbal and a 5" handmade acid-frosted globe (135 mm) with compass or ship motif. The globe is securely fastened with a clip-on spring in stainless steel. Hand polished and lacquered brass. 0.24" (6mm) circular burner. Height 15.35" (390 mm). Oil Container Capacity: 4 oz.

Another stunning nautical offering is our Starboard Lantern Lamp. Crafted in sturdy metal, with an antique bronze finish, this classic Starboard version sports a green glass lens, which in nautical terms indicates starboard side (the right). Each lantern is permanently mounted onto our five-quarter pine planking, warmly stained with a hand-rubbed finish and wrapped all around in our trademark white nautical rope. Each is specially three-way wired to illuminate the glass lens as a dramatic accent or night light, just the top for table lamp use, or both together. Topped with our classic cream linen shade. Lamp stands about 23" high.

Crafted of solid cast and tooled brass. • Dimensions: 10" tall x 3-1/2" diameter.
