The Boston Harbor Light is the oldest lighthouse in continuous service in the United States, and it is still manned today by the U.S. Coast Guard. Built in 1783 on an island in Boston Harbor, it sits on the site of the nation's first lighthouse, which was destroyed by the British in the Revolutionary War. In 1852, the present lighthouse tower was increased from 75 feet to 89 feet to make passage into Boston safer. Overall lamp height is 25".

Another stunning nautical offering is our Port Lantern Lamp. Crafted in sturdy metal, with an antique bronze finish, this classic Port version sports a red glass lens, which in nautical terms indicates port side (the left). Each lantern is permanently mounted onto our five-quarter pine planking, warmly stained with a hand-rubbed finish and wrapped all around in our trademark white nautical rope. Each is specially three-way wired to illuminate the glass lens as a dramatic accent or night light, just the top for table lamp use, or both together. Topped with our classic cream linen shade. Lamp stands about 23" high.
