About the lighthouse:
Built in 1791, Portland Head was the first lighthouse in America completed by the federal government. The 80-foot tall stone and brick tower sits at the southwest entrance to Portland Harbor to protect all vessels from the dangers of the rocky Maine coastline. Portland Head is one of the most photographed lighthouses in Maine, as its image is used in many different venues. Overall lamp height is 24".

Our exclusive Seagull Lamp is hand-painted and mounted on thick, solid, five-quarter nautical pine decking. We then groove the wooden decking to simulate a pier, wrap it in our trademark white nautical rope, stain it in a warm tone, and top-coat it with a hand-rubbed finish for permanence and protection. Our lamp is topped with a Bone-White Soft Pleat Shade. Shades are 12" in diameter at the bottom, and each comes with a solid brass ball finial on top. Overall lamp heights are 24" to 25”, using up to 100watt bulb with a three-way switch.

Constructed of solid brass, chrome plated. Comes complete with 4-way gimbal and smoke bell. • Dimensions: 10" tall x 5" (with gimbal).
