Built in 1791, Portland Head was the first lighthouse in America completed by the federal government. The 80-foot tall stone and brick tower sits at the southwest entrance to Portland Harbor to protect all vessels from the dangers of the rocky Maine coastline. Portland Head is one of the most photographed lighthouses in Maine, as its image is used in many different venues. Overall lamp height is 24".

Another stunning nautical offering is our Port Lantern Lamp. Crafted in sturdy metal, with an antique bronze finish, this classic Port version sports a red glass lens, which in nautical terms indicates port side (the left). Each lantern is permanently mounted onto our five-quarter pine planking, warmly stained with a hand-rubbed finish and wrapped all around in our trademark white nautical rope. Each is specially three-way wired to illuminate the glass lens as a dramatic accent or night light, just the top for table lamp use, or both together. Topped with our classic cream linen shade. Lamp stands about 23" high.
